It has a simple structure, moderate power consumption, low price, no pollution, fast response speed, reliable operation, easy maintenance, long service life, and wide temperature range adaptability. The disadvantages are low power, high noise, and uneven platform operating speed.
2. The key components of the hydraulic platform are hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic solenoid valves (which can be divided into switch valves and proportional valves), and hydraulic pump stations. The power is the highest among the three and is suitable for high load situations. It has a moderate price, relatively gentle movements compared to pneumatic platforms, and low noise;
3. The key components of the electric platform are the electric cylinder, reducer, servo motor, servo motor driver, motion control card, etc., and the power size is second only to the hydraulic platform. It has fast response speed, high sensitivity, precise control, simple structure, high reliability, low noise, clean and hygienic, and easy maintenance. The only drawback is that the control circuit is complex and the cost is high. In the drive system of the six degree of freedom platform, electric drive eliminates the intermediate conversion link of energy, and the electric motor directly generates force and torque. The motion process has good certainty, high efficiency, no complex pipeline system, high compactness, sensitive response, convenient use, and low cost. The electric drive method has many advantages mentioned above, so it is widely used in the field of industrial control. There are many types of electric motors in electric drive control systems, including stepper motors, AC servo motors, brushless DC servo motors, etc. AC servo synchronous motor is controlled by sine wave signal, with small torque ripple; At the same time, the motor has a small volume, low inertia, smooth rotation, and good fast response, large output torque, sensitive response, and easy to achieve precise control. Therefore, an electric drive method is adopted, and an AC servo synchronous motor is selected as the power device.
