The application of electric cylinders in modern industrial automation production is very common, and their continuous operation time, mileage, etc. are relatively long, so they play a very important role in industrial production. Many people may encounter rusting on the surface or internal components of electric cylinders after using them for a long time, which can have a certain impact on their normal operation. How should we deal with the rusting problem of electric cylinders?

After using the electric cylinder for a period of time, rusting occurs.

The following methods can be used to treat it:

1. The metal material on the surface of the electric cylinder is exposed to air for a long time, causing oxidation reaction and rusting. If the degree of surface rust is not very severe, simply use sandpaper to polish and remove rust from the rusted area. It should be noted that sandpaper itself can also cause wear and tear on the electric cylinder, so when polishing, it is important to control the force to avoid excessive polishing.

2. Dealing with it through chemical rust removal. The direct chemical reaction between acidic substances and rust on the surface of the electric cylinder can quickly and efficiently remove the rust layer of the electric cylinder.

When using chemical rust removal methods to remove rust, it is important to seal and protect precision components such as electronic instruments to better prevent damage to the cylinder. 3. Use high-pressure water abrasive to remove rust.

This type of method mainly relies on the jet impact of high-pressure water and abrasive to polish the rusted parts of the electric cylinder during rust removal. Compared to using sandpaper for polishing, the damage to the electric cylinder will be smaller, which is more conducive to maintaining the stability of the entire performance of the electric cylinder.
